We’re proud to announce our new partnerships with three more outstanding organisations in our ambition to support young people to discover new passions, have fun, find purpose in life and experience the joy of leading their own personal growth.
Meet our newest partners:
Speakers Trust has over 20 years of experience in supporting young people to build the confidence and skills to share their ideas, beliefs, and perspectives in public. Their vision is a world where every young person believes that their voice matters.
With our support, Speakers Trust will transform their delivery model by training teachers to deliver their tried and tested programme (previously only delivered by professional facilitators), so that they are able achieve impact in a much more sustainable and scalable way.
Our funding will support Speakers Trust to expand their work into five new regions across the UK by training 180 teachers to deliver the ‘Speak out Challenge’ programme to over 10,000 young people. This programme encourages Year 10 students to reflect on what brings them joy and get vital oracy training on how to talk confidently about their passions.
The Speakers Trust are building a stronger society in which the voices of young people are heard, whatever their background and we're excited to work with them on their innovative new delivery model.
"We're thrilled that the Ferdinando & Luigi Innocenti Foundation is supporting us to expand the Speak Out Challenge to new areas of the country and build the evidence base about what happens when young people are heard. Whether young people are sharing their passion for sport, social justice, or their own stories, there's a connection that happens when they feel genuinely heard by those that matter to them. That sense of belonging is one of the most important factors in young people's wellbeing. We're excited to work with the team at the Foundation and to hear from more young people about what sparks joy in their lives." Russell Findlay, CEO of Speakers Trust
Centre for Young Lives is an independent think tank and delivery unit, founded by Baroness Anne Longfield CBE, that is dedicated to improving the lives of children, young people, and families across the UK. The Centre produces evidence, policies, strategy and models to improve children’s life chances.
We're partnering on a research project which will assess the current landscape of enrichment provision across the UK in order to identify areas of low access to enrichment i.e. geographical coldspots. It will then explore effective delivery models, collaborate with partners to design and cost solutions, and promote findings to influence policy and secure broader support for investment in enrichment provision.
This important work aims to provide an evidence base for a national enrichment programme and influence government action on enrichment in the 2027 Spending Review.
“We’re delighted to be launching this important new research on enrichment, which will help us build the strongest possible case for investment in enrichment opportunities. Every child deserves access to the opportunities that build confidence, spark joy and a provide a sense of belonging - and this work will give us the evidence we need to push for meaningful change. We’re hugely grateful to the Ferdinando & Luigi Innocenti Foundation for supporting this project and enabling us to shine a light on the pathway to open up enrichment opportunities for every child. Their partnership is invaluable as we work to ensure all young people can thrive.” Haroon Chowdry, CEO of Centre for Young Lives
Enrichment for All is stewarded by a cross-sector Steering Group of national leaders, alongside a fast-growing Coalition of nearly 200 organisations working together to ensure all young people have access to meaningful enrichment.
Enrichment gives young people chances to discover what they enjoy, what they care about and what they are good at. So we're honoured to join the Steering Group and invest in the Enrichment for All core team capacity, Evidence Hub and Research & Insights so that all young people have fair and equitable access to enrichment.
We're looking forward to working with coalition members - The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Big Education, Oasis UK, Ormiston Trust, the Association of Colleges and The Careers & Enterprise Company - to further this work.
"Enrichment for All is, at its heart, a shared national endeavour – shaped by leaders across sectors and strengthened by a growing coalition of organisations working together so that every young person can access meaningful enrichment, wherever they live. We’re delighted to welcome the Ferdinando & Luigi Innocenti Foundation to the Enrichment for All Steering Group. Their support helps us nurture the conditions in which great opportunities can flourish and reach the young people who need them most." Ruth Marvel, CEO of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Chair of the Enrichment for All Steering Group
"Across the country, schools, colleges and communities are already creating powerful enrichment experiences; opening up moments of joy, discovery and belonging for young people. What Enrichment for All brings is a way of connecting that energy – so it becomes something every young person can benefit from, not just a fortunate few. This partnership is an important step in that journey. It strengthens our shared ability to learn from what’s working, to grow it, and to support more joined-up local offers – shaped by many organisations, but felt by young people as something coherent and consistent." Liz Robinson, CEO of Big Education and Co-convenor of the Enrichment for All Coalition
"At Oasis, we believe every young person should be known, included and given the opportunity to flourish – not just academically, but socially, culturally and emotionally too. Enrichment for All speaks directly to that belief, bringing people and organisations together around a shared ambition for young people. Through this partnership with the Ferdinando & Luigi Innocenti Foundation, we can continue to support communities to work together over time, so that high-quality enrichment becomes part of everyday life – not a privilege for the few, but something every young person can experience." Dave Parr, CEO of Oasis and Co-convenor of Enrichment for All coalition.
We believe every young person should have the opportunity to have fun, grow, and live with purpose. So, we’re excited to get working with Russell Findlay, Haroon Chowdry and their teams as well as Liz Robinson and the Enrichment for All steering group (Ruth Marvel, Dave Parr, James Murray, John Yarham, David Hughes) on these projects to make that vision a reality.
