Agent Academy in partnership with Ferdinando & Luigi Innocenti Foundation

Agent Academy’s programme brought together a diverse cohort of 13 young people aged 18-26 from across the Liverpool City Region. The project was designed to unlock potential, ignite passions and equip young people with the confidence, direction and skills needed to thrive in the digital, creative, and tech sectors.
Conducted over a twelve-week period, the group took on a real-world challenge: to investigate how young people - particularly those facing disadvantage - can be supported in discovering their passions and building purposeful lives.
Key outcomes of the programme were:
- An evidence-based research report: ‘How can we create opportunities for young people to: experience joy, discover their passions, develop a sense of purpose in their lives.’ A comprehensive engagement strategy included quantitative and qualitative insights from over 100 young people. The findings strongly support FL&I’s Theory of Change, reinforcing the idea that young people thrive when they are given:
- Agency to lead their own engagement.
- Access to activities that are financially and geographically feasible.
- Opportunities to explore without pressure or expectation.
- A sense of belonging in a community that values their interests.
