It’s been one year since we set off on our ambition to 'spark joy' and we’ve been inspired by so many friends and young people we’ve met along the way. 

We believe that all young people deserve to have fun and experience joy. Our purpose is to provide funding that enables young people to discover new passions, have fun, find purpose in life, and experience the joy of leading their own personal growth.  

We’ve loved working with our partners on this work so far and learning with them as we go: 
· With BBC Children in Need we're investing in youth organisations across the UK to design and take part in projects which enable young people to find activities they are passionate about. 

 · With Big Change we're funding and supporting leaders aged 18-25 with projects that have the potential to create lasting change through The Spark Awards. 

· Our learning partner, Trust Impact are supporting us to measure and understand the impact of these projects. 

So, what does the next year have in store for us?  

• We’re funding even more projects with partners who share our vision and values for youth-led joy – look out for news of our latest investments! 
• We’re learning as we go and will continue to share what works most effectively in sparking joy for young people. 
• We’re researching and sharing insights into the value of youth-led joy to deepen our expertise.

Long term, we want to use our experiences to inspire other funders, philanthropists and foundations to invest in ideas that are youth-led and bring joy.

It’s been a wonderful first year in action, but we still have so much more to do, and we’re energised to do it.
